The hardest part was getting the seams to line up.
Numbering and sections:

Foundation piece the sections using your favorite method. I'm still very partial to the freezer paper method. Remember to leave ¼" seam allowances all the way around each section.

Attach sections to form two halves of the block.

Attach these to sections to finish your block. I did have to stitch the center part of this seam 5 times before I was sort of happy with how it lined up, which is why I recommend sewing the seam intersections first, then the rest of the seam: fewer stitches to unpick.
