Print or trace the block diagram onto foundation paper, number, and cut out as below.
You have to mirror the diagram!
Foundation piece all the numbered sections and trim the seam allowances to 1/4". Cut the unnumbered sections out of the appropriate fabric. Remember to add the 1/4" seam allowance here as well.
Assemble the block following the photos below.
Applique the small top kite into position.
