An easy one.
Print or trace the block diagram onto foundation paper, number, and cut out the sections as in the photo. Note that the corner triangles are not included here.
Foundation piece each section and trim seam allowances to 1/4".
Out of background fabric, cut two squares 2 1/8" x 2 1/8" and cut each in half on the diagonal.
Sew the four pieced strips to the center section.
Attach the four background fabric triangles.

Summery waves! Love the block Anina!
ReplyDeleteYou are such an inspiration. I am going to make time to get to my DJ blocks and make some more very soon.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure others have asked about this but I'm just getting started on my quilt and am hoping that you will leave this blog up and running after you have finished your quilt! It's a wonderful idea and you do a great job! Thanks!

I have never posted before but I wanted to say I love this blog! I have probably been following it for a year. I made some blocks a while back but then took a break to make another quilt. But now I am back and I have about 15 squares so far, I am aiming for enough to make a baby quilt.
