F-8

You have to mirror this diagram.
I didn't.
But I'm not remaking the block.

Print or trace the block diagram onto foundation paper, number, and cut out as in the photo. You have to mirror the diagram.
Foundation piece each section and trim the seam allowances to 1/4".
Sew together the three center sections.
Attach the side sections.
Add the top and bottom sections.
Finally attach the long sides.

  1. What a pretty block! Love that soft aqua. I bet Jane would love all these wonderful colors. I wonder if she would think that everyone who is making replicas was insane, since we have so many more color choices than she did. Probably!

    Happy stitching,
    Susan

  3. I just found your blog and I am so excited. It has inspired me to get back into my Dear Jane Quilt. I have completed 75 blocks but stopped when I got to those I wanted to foundation piece. I have been busy with other projects and the Dear Jane Quilt has no time limit attached. So thank you for an amazing blog that I know will be a great resource for me. Steph
