A great little tool

I've started putting together my quilt top! It's turning out so much better that I could ever have hoped for. I haven't seen many photos of tops in progress on Flickr. Have you started yet?
I'm putting together the Rainbow Jane top too. It's lovely as well.
Jane was such a talented lady.

My new favorite tool for squaring up the little baby blocks.
A 5" square!

I have three of them in the store if you're interested.

  2. Oooooh! I don't have a 5 inch ruler! I have a 4 inch one and a 6 inch one. I'm gonna have to get the 5 inch one! That will making squaring up the blocks SO much eaiser! (Well..that is it will if I EVER get to finally start working on my DJ..dernit)

  3. How exciting! I won't put my top together until all the blocks are done. Can't make up my mind about sashing. Noth color and design. Considering Storm at Sea sashing, since my colors are watery/ocean-y.

  4. I like your little 5" ruler.

I am not even close to being able to put my top together. I purchased the Dear Jane tools when I bought my book. The triangle ruler has really come in handy.

  6. I would like to see photos of a DJQ getting put together. I thought you once posted your first 3 rows. I'd like to see more of the process.
