It is a lovely block!
ReplyDeleteRed is the most difficult colour in designs, paints, fabrics etc. When you make a black and white photocopy of red it will show as 100% black. That’s why autographs that need to be photocopied are often made in red ink. Red absorbs all the light.
Oh, but we all know it adds so much to a piece and makes it pop! Love this one!! (however i have not gotten to it yet!)

ReplyDeleteI dont know why red is awful to scan but it sure turned out beautiful for sewing the way yo did it. Great block.
ReplyDeleteAh, polka dots... so happy! It is so funny-- I've made all of these blocks, but looking at these, I can't even remember half of them! :P It's like seeing them all for the first time (again!).
