It's been a long, long time!

My original Baby Jane top (the one I used to write all the tutorials) has been languishing for years - almost FIVE years to be exact.
Many things have happened in my life since and I'm happy to announce that I think I'm ready to tackle the final stages.
One of the reasons I haven't finished the quilt is that I couldn't figure out how to baste something this large. Well, in our new house I have ample room - until the new couch arrives in less than two weeks. I better get a move on!

  1. Wonderful to see you posting again. I have used your tutorials extensively. Good luck on the basting. Are you hand quilting this project?

    1. Goodness, no! I have a lot of respect for hand quilters but I have not been able to master it.

  7. I had no idea you didn’t finish the quilt. So many quilters still use your tutorials! You’ve learned me a lot during the quilt-along, like using freezer paper for appliqué and foundation piecing! Can’t wait to see the finished ‘That quilt’!

  10. Yes, congratulations. I discovered this blog the day you were triangle wrangling and it helped me complete my Baby Jane. It has been short-cutted on my desktop ever since.
