Once Upon a Time...

...a long, long Time Ago, I planned to make a red & white Baby Jane.
Many, many things have happened in my life in the mean time and I'm pretty sure it's not going to happen as a full scale version.
I did make a couple of blocks way back then.
Our local guild's quilt show is coming up in November and I was wracking my brain for something to enter, when I remembered the little red blocks.
I played around with the Dear Jane software a little this morning and came up with this:
If you're in the Seattle area and would like to see her in the show, mark your calendar now: November 7 to November 9 in Issaquah, WA.

  1. It is always so fun spotting Janes at quilt shows!

Looking forward to the show-- sending good finishing vibes your way! :)

  2. very nice, this puts me to shame still not made one block, partly as I am a beginner and do not know where to start at least that is my excuse.

  3. I like your border choice. It fits the quilt size very well and yet sort of hints at the regular DJ border. Lovely :-)

  4. It will be beautiful!! I want to do a red and white!! Someday!!

  5. Nice. But the usa is to far away for me. Plz post a picture...

  6. I've just started my Dear Jane quilt, and refer to your blog a lot. I'm so glad you posted the tutorials.

  7. I love red & white quilts!!! I've started my "Hot Flash" Jane which is all red & white. Someday, it'll be finished! :-)
